How do I order from stagelighting.co.uk?

Ordering is easy - use our online ordering system by adding items to your shopping cart and when you're finished proceed to the checkout and follow the payment instructions. You can also call us on 0844 800 3412 or Skype: usedlighting, e-mail us at sales@stagelighting.co.uk or fax your order to 0844 800 3413. From outside of the UK call +44 20 8662 8018. Calls to our 'ContactCall' 0844 number are charged at up to 5 pence per minute from a BT landline and no revenue is generated from the cost of your call for Lighting Partners.

Is paying by debit or credit card online safe?

Yes. Card payment services on this website are provided by SagePay a UK leader in secure online transactions, your details are encrypted to the highest possible global standards to ensure your payment is safe and easy.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept payment by Maestro, VISA, VISA Debit, MasterCard, Electron, Solo and VISA Delta or by cheque, cash, BACS or PayPal.  Cheque payments must clear prior to shipping - please allow 7 days. International orders can only be paid for by international bank transfer.

When are you open?

We are open Monday to Friday from 9am until 5.30pm, closed weekends and UK public holidays.

Is your equipment under warranty?

Yes. We offer a year long return to base warranty on all items sold through stagelighting.co.uk. If problems arise just send the item back and we will sort it out - simple! We will repair the item and send it back to you, all you need to look after is getting it to our service centre. Unwanted items attract a 25% restocking fee - contact us for details.

What is the availability of items on your site?

We hold the vast majority of items on our website in our warehouse for immediate shipping, other items are available at short notice.

Can I collect rather than have an item sent?

Yes, collection is possible by prior arrangement from our warehouse in Croydon, South London. Please note you cannot pay for an order online and then collect, if collecting payment must be made in person.

How much is shipping?

Shipping charges are calculated for each individual order based on weight. The shipping total is clearly displayed on the online checkout before you complete your order. We aim to achieve a 24 Hour delivery service using both overnight courier and Royal Mail Special Delivery (restrictions apply - contact us for details). For courier orders you will be emailed a tracking number to enable you to follow the progress of your order over the web. International shipments should be arranged by phone.

Do you include lamps with lanterns?

The majority of new lanterns do not come with lamps included unless stated otherwise on the website, if you're not sure what you need just give us a call.

Do your lanterns include a plug?

The majority of new lanterns do not come with a plug included unless stated otherwise on the website, we're happy to fit plugs at additional cost, call us for more details.

I am buying on behalf of a school, can you deal with them?

We deal with many orders from schools and LEA's, please contact us for more details on the simple payment options available to you.

What is your VAT number ?

Do I have to pay VAT?

If you are based in the UK and are an individual or business you must pay VAT at the current rate of 20%. If you are within the EU and have a valid VAT number from your member state we can zero rate the sale otherwise UK VAT is payable. Sales from outside of the UK/EU do not attract VAT.

If I am returning an item who pays?

The customer must pay for the return of any item once it has been authorised, we can arrange for our courier to collect but this will be chargeable and deducted from any monies owing to you.
